GDA e.V. organized European Aluminium Congress in Düsseldorf

The "Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie (GDA) e.V." (General association of the aluminium industry), headquartered in Düsseldorf, was founded in its present form in Dresden in 1992. It is an association of aluminium companies, who produce raw aluminium or aluminium products also in conjunction with other materials. As an industry association, it represents the interests of a powerful aluminium industry and its jobs.

The European Aluminium Congress developed into an international industry meeting point and a technical-scientific flagship event for the aluminium industry. The Congress combines theoretically oriented contributions with practical reports, offers overview presentations and creates room for the exchange of experiences beyond industry borders. Sektor supported the GDA in organizing the event.
