Architectural Connection and Dynamic Zoning
For the SMS group’s appearance at METEC in Düsseldorf, the world's leading trade fair for metallurgical technology, we realized an expansive booth concept. The architecture comprised a large island stand and an opposing head stand, which were visually merged across the hall aisle to form an impressive unit. The central design element was an elegantly curved textile banner that traversed the booth, skillfully dividing it into various functional zones. While interactive exhibits at the outer perimeter invited visitors to engage in technical discussions, the generous and open design ensured a powerful brand presence throughout the hall.
Centralized Communication and Exclusive Retreats
The heart of the main area was a raised platform, accessible via several staircases, which served as a vibrant meeting point. A central tree with a surrounding circular bench, a spacious bar counter, and a mix of high and low tables created an inviting atmosphere that encouraged guests to linger and engage in intensive dialogue. On the adjacent area, we created high-end meeting rooms featuring glass elements to maintain a visual link to the main booth. Equipped with acoustic panels, natural moss elements, and premium carpeting, these rooms offered first-class comfort and a quiet atmosphere, making them a preferred choice for confidential discussions among clients and employees alike.
